Man High on PCP During Attack on Girl Pleads Guilty

A 27-year-old man who was high on PCP when he sexually assaulted a girl along H Street NE last month pleaded guilty Monday.

According to police, Demetrick Littlejohn of Washington, D.C. grabbed a 9-year-old girl just after 1 p.m. Aug. 16 after she walked out of a store with her godmother. Officers said Littlejohn whispered in her ear that he wanted to have sex with her, threw her to the ground then had sexual contact with her until a Good Samaritan interfered.

Littlejohn was arrested just after the attack. He told police he was high on PCP at the time and didn't even remember attacking the girl. He tested positive for PCP and Monday pleaded guilty to attempted second degree child sexual abuse in an Alford plea -- meaning he simply agrees the government has enough evidence to convict him, not that he admits to the act.

He will be sentenced in October and could face up to five years in prison. Little john will also be required to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
