A Maryland man was found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of his 12-year-old stepdaughter.
Prosecutors said David Hang stabbed 12-year-old Jessica Nguyen more than 40 times in their home in Gaithersburg in May 2011.
Hang was in the process of divorcing Jessica's mother.
Prosecutors argue that the marriage was part of an immigration sham, and Hang is believed to be married to several women.
