Man Gets DUI After Crashing Into Pedestrian, Parked Cars

An Arlington man was charged with DUI after he struck a pedestrian and four parked cars Sunday.

Benjamin Andruss, 36, was driving in the wrong direction at a high rate of speed when he struck a 33-year-old DC man and four parked vehicles in the 3100 block of N. Wilson Boulevard in Arlington around 9:15 p.m.

Andruss was arrested Monday and charged with DUI and DUI refusal. The victim was taken to GW Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
