A man died after being found unconscious Tuesday night near the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.
Prince George’s County police said the man was found on a road outside the university’s Byrd Stadium around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Police said the victim was wearing running clothes and appeared to be of college age. They have not identified him yet, because he was not carrying identification.
Police described him as a black man in his early 20s standing 6-feet tall and weighing 262 pounds. He had a light mustache and light chin hair and was wearing a black T-shirt over a white tank top, navy blue running shorts with white stripes down the side and black, red and neon orange Nike basketball shoes. He also wore a "diamond style" earring in each ear, police said.
For now, police do not suspect foul play.
