The man found shot in a vehicle in Mount Vernon Wednesday was identified as Morgan Detroy Monroe Jr., of Landover, Md., police said.
Authorities received a call for a noise complaint about 11:30 p.m. and found a 47-year-old man sitting in a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
