A man's body was found alongside a road in Capitol Heights. Police aren't sure how he died. Prince George's County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins reports.

Prince George's County Police are working to identify the man found dead along a Capitol Heights street Tuesday morning.

Someone walking in the 4000 block of Dent Street found the body in a grassy area around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday.

There's no word on the victim's age or cause of death. Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

"[I]t could be anything from a homicide or even possibly a medical emergency that occurred. At this time we're still investigating the situation to find out exactly what happened," said Cpl. Nate Lewis with Prince George's County Police.

Police spent the morning to canvas door-to-door to see whether anyone in the neighborhood heard or saw anything. Anyone with information is asked to call Prince George's County Police.
