Man in Custody After Murder in Greenbelt: Police

One man is in custody following the stabbing death of a man in Greenbelt, Maryland, police said.

Officers were called to the 9100 block of Edmonston Road just after 10 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found 38-year-old Kelley Wainwright Robbins of Irving, Texas, lying on a living room sofa with a stab wound to his neck.

Robbins was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect, 38-year-old Patrick Corie Hunter, was arrested at the scene. Police said they also recovered what they believe is the murder weapon.

The investigation is ongoing.
