A man was fatally shot early Friday morning in Northeast D.C., becoming the 142nd homicide victim in D.C. this year.
Ray Andre Harrison, 21, was found with gunshot wounds in the 1300 block of Adams Street NE, where police responded around 2:30 a.m.
He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, where he died.
Police have not given any information on a suspect or motive.
The District has been dealing with a spike in murders this year.
