Police are investigating the death of a man inside the Columbia Heights Metro station in Northwest D.C.
Fire officials say the victim was found bleeding from the head early Tuesday morning at the bottom of an escalator. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Police say the investigation has not interrupted service.
