A man shot his roommate to death after an argument, Fairfax County Police said Monday.
Officers were called to the home on Havenwood Place in the Alexandria section of the county at 1 a.m. Monday for a report an assault. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. The gunman remained at the scene, police said.
The two men were arguing when one shot the other, police said.
The gun was recovered.
Freddy A. Bonilla Rodriguez, 39, is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond.
The victim has not been identified.
