Man Charged in 7 Arson Fires in Frederick, Md.

Suspect a registered sex offender

    Frederick, Md., police charged a man with setting seven fires since March.

    Jason Edward Fauble, 34, of no fixed address was arrested Tuesday and charged with arson and other offenses. Fauble is a registered sex offender and violated provisions of his supervision, police said.

    The first four fires were set on March 18 at four homes, police said. One person was injured.

    On July 24, two fires were set in Frederick, and two people were hurt.

    On Saturday, a fire was set in a travel trailer behind a department store.

    Video showed the suspect in the trailer fire, police said.
