Police found a man beaten to death in northeast Washington just before midnight Wednesday.
Officers were called to the 1000 block of 16th Street NE and found 36-year-old Aaron Henderson, who had suffered severe trauma to the body.
Authorities said Henderson was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide.
