A man has been arrested after U.S. Park Police say he led them on a chase through the District into Montgomery County on Sunday.
The chase started when a Park Police officer spotted a drug transactoin in the area of Calvert and Connecticut Avenue NW.
The suspect took off and the officer pursued him southbound on Rock Creek Parkway, police said.
At one point the suspect turned around and struck the front end of the officer's cruiser, police said.
The officer stopped the pursuit, but Montgomery County police found the man a short time later in Bethesda, Maryland, using a K9 team and took him into custody, police said.
