A Manassas, Va., man is accused of trapping a woman in a restaurant freezer and assaulting her.

Prince William County Police told InsideNOVA.com that the incident happened on June 10. According to the website, the woman was closing the Eggspectation restaurant on Crescent Park Drive in Gainesville, Va., that night when investigators said Rafael Alonso Perez Lazo followed her into the walk-in freezer and attacked her.

Police said the woman was not in the freezer very long. According to InsideNOVA.com, the woman had her cell phone and contacted a co-worker for help getting out.

Perez Lazo, 25, is charged with abduction and assault and battery and is being held without bond. He is scheduled to be in court on July 21.
