Man Accused of Sex Assault of Child in Park Restroom

A CT prison warden faces sexual assault charges for encounters he had with a male inmate, according to State Police.

Fairfax County Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy in a park restroom over the weekend.

Michael Darden, 22, is charged with aggravated sexual battery and abduction with intent to defile. According to police, he approached the child at about 11:15 on Saturday morning in the bathroom.

The child left the bathroom and told his mother that the man had assaulted him. The child's mother called police.

Other people at the park kept an eye on Darden until officers got there and arrested him. Detectives want to know if Darden may have assaulted any other children. Any parentss with concerns should contact police.
