Loudoun Deputies Search for Landscape Fraud Victims

Officials: in most cases prepaid work was never completed or even started

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is looking for potential victims in a landscaper fraud case where customers paid for services that they said were never completed or even started.

Authorities said the landscaper is reportedly offering yard work services from "Dave’s Lawn Services" but requires a prepaid contract for the services.

In most cases, officials said the suspect never completed or failed to even begin the projects.

The most recent cases have been reported in the Wild Meadow Court area of Ashburn, Raspberry Falls and River Creek, according to officials.

Authorities say the person is known to drive a 1999 Dodge truck with Maryland tags and a 2004 Chevrolet truck also with Maryland tags.

If you believe you were a victim in this case, officials ask you please contact Detective J. Halley of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475.
