Students Returning to Loudoun Co. School

Students and staff are returning to Lovettsville Elementary School in Loudoun County after an evacuation following reports of a suspicious package.

The package, found by school personnel shortly before 9 a.m., had a "suspicious substance" inside, a Loudoun County spokesperson said. The substance was then deemed harmless.

Members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Loudoun County Fire, Rescue & Emergency Management repsonded to the scene.
