A couple that won the Mega Millions lottery is donating $1.1 million to George Washington University.

Gilbert Cisneros and his wife, Jacki, won $266 million in the California State Lottery drawing last May.

Gilbert graduated from George Washington University in 1994.

Some of the money will go toward a scholarship program for minority students. The rest will fund the Yellow Ribbon Program to support veteran education.
