UNDERWEAR PICTURES LAND MAN IN JAIL
Fredericksburg.com: " Attention area women: Police say some of you might have unknowingly had pictures of your underwear taken while you were shopping. Fredericksburg police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said more than 40 such pictures were found during a recent search of a man's cellphone. The investigation began July 2 when three women who were shopping at the Target in Central Park complained about a man who had invaded their personal space." 

LAUGHS INTO LIQUOR
SoMdnews.com: "The Big Mouth Club in Waldorf is due to shrink drastically, with the subtracted space being turned into a liquor store, its owner revealed at a liquor board meeting last month. John Roberts, a veteran Southern Maryland entertainer, opened the comedy club a year ago in a shopping center in northern Waldorf that had long contained nightclub-type venues. At the June 9 meeting of the Charles County Board of License Commissioners, he requested, and received, permission to open a package goods store in about 5,000 square feet of his space, to be called Big Mouth Liquors."

MARYLAND SNACK TAX?
Washington Examiner:  "Gasoline tax increase also targeted  Maryland lawmakers plan to weigh new taxes on snack foods, medicine and online sales, as well as an increase in the state's gasoline tax, as they prepare for a special General Assembly session in the face of a $1.1 billion structural deficit. The Senate Budget and Taxation Committee will consider various revenue-generating proposals at its next meeting later this month, committee members told The Washington Examiner."
