LOCKER ROOM THIEF BUSTED
A 40-year-old man from Bethesda, Md., has been arrested as a suspect in numerous auto thefts and thefts from gyms in the City of Falls Church and throughout the D.C. metropolitan area, Falls Church officials reported today.  Ronnie Willis Cheek was identified after an investigation was conducted by the Falls Church Police Department. The Prince William County School Board voted 6 to 2 Wednesday to approve Superintendent Steven L. Walts’ recommendation of adding 10 minutes to the end of each day at the elementary school level to make up for time missed from this winter’s snowstorms. (Insidenova.com)

COUNCIL SAYS "NO RAISES"
Montgomery County's police and firefighters will not receive the pay raises they were due in fiscal 2011. The County Council voted Tuesday not to uphold any provisions of collective bargaining agreements that would cost the county more money. Now, officials from all three government employee unions will return to the bargaining table with County Executive Isiah Leggett (D). (Gazette)
