MARYLAND BED BUG GRANT
Baltimore Sun: "The state Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has received a $142,440 federal grant to fight bed bugs in Baltimore and elsewhere in Maryland.  The two-year grant is among five totaling $550,000 awarded by the Environmental Protection Agency to try new approaches to managing bed bug problems."  

ALLIGATOR, SEX OFFENDER AND JEWELRY AT DULLES
Loudoun Times: "It was quite an unusual weekend for Dulles Airport Customs and Border Protection agencies, as officers detained an alleged child rapist and seized Iranian jewelry, while agricultural specialists confiscated a cooked whole crocodile and nine pounds of antelope meat."

A STICKY SITUATION
wtop.com/AP: "Elkton police say a man became stuck to a department store toilet seat after someone spread glue on it.  It happened Thursday evening at the Walmart in Elkton. Officials refused to say how long the man was stuck before he was able to get help."
