CSX, "WE'RE SORRY"
Fredericksburg.com: "Blaring train horn needed for safety. The recent irritant of train horns constantly blaring throughout the wee hours in the area surely has roused more than a few folks from a peaceful slumber. And for that, CSX is sorry.  But it's a safety measure, and the work can't be done during normal working hours, spokesman Robert Sullivan said yesterday."

PLASTIC ROACHES
Gazette: "Union members infiltrated and disrupted a high-profile national conference of nutritional physicians last year by "throwing dozens of plastic roaches around the conference and even onto the food being served at the event," Gaithersburg food-service provider Sodexo has charged in a lawsuit against the union. The plastic roach allegation is among numerous charges being leveled by Sodexo against the Service Employees International Union and related parties in the suit filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Va. The union has resorted to illegal tactics to pressure Sodexo into unionizing thousands of nonunion workers and has caused the company to lose contracts and "suffer significant financial harm," according to the company's suit"

wtop.com: "When college students were asked to name their ideal job, Google was the runaway winner. But plenty of federal agencies also earned votes for "most desirable employer."  Universum, an international business consulting firm, ranked Google No. 1, followed by Apple, Walt Disney, the U.S. State Department and Amazon in its 2010 survey.
