    UNEMPLOYMENT DOWN IN FAIRFAX
Sun Gazette: "Unemployment across Fairfax County fell in September, and the jobs picture was good enough to rank the county fourth among Virginia’s 134 cities and counties. With 577,159 county residents employed in the civilian workforce and 27,623 looking for work, September’s unemployment rate of 4.6 percent was down from 4.9 percent a month before, according to figures reported Nov. 3 by the Virginia Employment Commission."

    FIRESHEEP...
wtop.com: " Think twice about bringing that laptop or iPad to the coffeeshop.  New easily-accessible software grants access to the private information of anyone else on the same public wireless network.  Firesheep, released just a few days ago, is an "Add-On" available through Firefox.  Through this application users can view and click on the screens of anyone else sharing the same network in a public place, allowing full access to sites that user is accessing."

    GROCERY PRICES GOING UP
Wall Street Journal / wtop.com: " Get ready to pay more for groceries and restaurant meals as food prices outpace inflation.
Grocery chains, including Safeway, say they plan to pass the costs along to you, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Food makers, Kraft Foods, Sara Lee Corp. and General Mills, in August said prices would be going up. Now, Kellogg's is hinting the same thing."
