$14K POWER BILL!
Gazette: "After a year in business, a Mount Rainier business owner got an unwelcome surprise in his Pepco statement: a nearly $14,000 bill for power usage during the past 12 months. But Jay Jahangir, who owns ZZ Pizza at the corner of 34th Street and Bunker Hill Road, had been receiving monthly bills of between $100 and $200 since opening his shop in October 2009."

MORE POACHING NETS FOUND IN BAY
Baltimore Sun: " Natural Resources Police officers recovered another 1,500 yards of illegal fishing net containing 300 pounds of striped bass Wednesday night in Eastern Bay off Kent Island.This is the eighth time in three weeks that patrol boats dragging grappling hooks have snagged submerged nets. The total length of confiscated nets is 5.5 miles and the weight of the poached striped bass, also known as rockfish, is 12.6 tons."

LAUGHTER YOGA, HAHAHAHA!
The Capital: "Picture a group of retired women crawling around on the floor and acting like children. Instructor Norma Uemura of Millersville mimics a lion during laughter yoga class at Anne Arundel Medical Center last week. The class focuses on laughter as a way to make people feel good. Zinda Wienke of Pasadena follows Uemura in the background. Norma Uemura's class at Anne Arundel Medical Center featured lots of giggles, guffaws, chortles and chuckles."
