Police say a Leesburg man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times during an altercation, and they have a man in custody.
Police say they were called around 11 p.m. Friday to a home in the 800 block of Rhonda Place SE for a report of a shooting. Police say when they arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
Police say the man was taken by helicopter to a hospital where he underwent surgery.
Police say Jacob Timothy Kinsey of Leesburg, 29, was charged in connection with the shooting and has been ordered held without bond.
Police did not release the name of the victim.
