Larry Hogan to Discuss Plans for 2014

Maryland Republican Larry Hogan is scheduled to announce whether he'll be running for governor.

Hogan, who served in former Gov. Robert Ehrlich's administration, has scheduled an event Friday evening in Annapolis. He is set to talk about his plans at the fall harvest party for Change Maryland, a grassroots organization he heads.

Hogan says about 1,000 people are scheduled to attend. He says the group has grown to about 65,000 members across the state. Hogan was the secretary of appointments in the Ehrlich administration.

There are three candidates already seeking the Republican nomination for governor. They are Harford County Executive David Craig, Del. Ron George of Anne Arundel County and Charles County businessman Charles Lollar.
