One person was killed and three others were injured in an early Sunday morning house fire in Landover, Maryland, according to fire officials.
A spokesman for the Prince George’s County Fire Department confirmed one fatality from the fire in the 1500 block of Ballinger Avenue. He said there were three others injured, but he believed the injuries were not critical.
The fire was brought under control after 4 a.m. Sunday. The victims have not been identified.
Investigators are still searching for the cause of the fire. It is not known if there were working smoke detectors in the home.
