The Key Bridge has reopened after a closure of more than two hours because of police activity.
The bridge connecting Georgetown and Arlington was closed in both directions starting about 8:40 p.m. and had reopened by 10:30 p.m., the Metropolitan Police Department said Tuesday night.
A man who had tried to harm himself on the bridge was recovered unharmed, police said.
