Kaine's Trip to Dubai More Than Vacation

Gov. Tim Kaine is in the Middle East romancing big business.

WASHINGTON -- Unlike a certain mayor of a certain District of a certain Columbia, Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine seems happy to disclose details of his trip to Dubai.

Kaine is on trade mission to the Middle East, the Free-Lance Star reported. He's spent the week meeting with government and business officials in Israel, Dubai and Morocco to promote the state as a good place for businesses to locate.

His trip may lure an unnamed company from Dubai, Kaine said Wednesday.

No word on whether he sought sight-seeing tips from D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty.
