Jury selection is under way in the trial of five men accused in one of the most notorious crimes in D.C. history.

Nine people were shot in a drive-by shooting on South Capitol Street in Southeast in March 2010. Four died.

Six others were hurt in a series of related violent attacks within eight days of each other.

Each of those charged in the shootings faces a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
