A couple of area amusement parks are closing because of Hurricane Irene.
Both Six Flags America and Kings Dominion are closing.
Six Flags will be closed Saturday and Sunday, a representative said.
Kings Dominion will be closed Saturday for the safety of guests and employees, but the park plans to be open Sunday.
Anyone with a ticket dated for Saturday can use it any regular operating day through Sept. 11. For a refund, send your ticket with you name address and phone number to:
