Drivers who use the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway (I-95/495 South) should be aware of plans next week for closures of two lanes and multiple ramps for construction, according to representatives of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project.

One through lane and one local lane will be closed from the U.S. Route 1 exit to just past Telegraph Road, say project representatives.  Additionally, the Inner Loop exit for Telegraph Road South and the Telegraph Road North/South on-ramps to the Inner Loop will be closed.

The closures will occur at about 9 p.m. on Friday, December 10, representatives said.  The lanes and ramps will reopen sometime Sunday afternoon, except for the Telegraph Road North on-ramp, which will remain closed for around two weeks.

Project representatives urge drivers to find alternate routes to avoid possible delays and can visit www.wilsonbridge.com for updated traffic and project information.
