Ink Spill Snarls I95 Traffic Overnight Near Baltimore

Traffic in I-895 also affected

Traffic was snarled overnight near Baltimore because of an ink spill on I-95.

A tractor-trailer overturned at the Fort McHenry toll plaza around 9 p.m. Wednesday, spilling non-toxic printer ink all over I-95 there.  Some of the 55-gallons of ink also spilled over onto I-895.

Crews worked overnight to rub out the ink spot.  The spill was mopped up before the start of the morning rush on Thursday.

WBAL reports that alcohol is being investigated as a possible cause of the accident.
