Infant Found, Teen Mother Still Missing in MontCo

An infant reported missing in Montgomery County has been found and reunited with family members.

However, police continue to look for the child’s missing 14-year-old mother, Shanee Cox.

Police say Cox was last seen on February 2, 2012, on the 2200 block of Georgian Way in Wheaton. 

Shanee Cox is described as an African American female, 5’ 2” tall, and weighing 130 pounds.  She has brown eyes and brown hair that is kept in a pony tail.  She was last seen wearing a blue coat, a pink shirt, ripped blue jeans over black leggings, and brown boots. 

Montgomery County police believe Shanee Cox may be in the Wheaton / Glenmont area.
