Police in Montgomery County say a bank robber chose an unusual disguise: a burqa.

They say he targeted a TD Bank branch on Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. He was wearing a burqa, a garment often worn by Muslim women that covers their faces and bodies.

Police say the man had a "Middle Eastern accent." After displaying a gun, he made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
