ICE Raids Farmers Market in Northeast D.C.

11 arrested, counterfeit goods seized

Federal agents raided the D.C. Farmers Market in northeast Washington Friday.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 11 vendors and seized counterfeit goods from the building on Neal Street near Gallaudet University. Agents carried out boxes of counterfeit Nike, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and Ugg products, as well as fake NFL apparel and bootleg DVDs.

The market remained open during the raid.
