The husband of a pregnant Reston woman who died Monday has been found dead in an apparent suicide, authorities announced Wednesday morning.

Timothy Connor, 31, was found dead in Bandera County, Texas, on Tuesday.

Detectives say Connor's wife, Jennifer Lynne Pearson, was found dead in their Reston apartment at 12002 Waterside View Drive after a fire broke out there early Monday.

The door to their apartment was locked when firefighters arrived, and they had to force their way in to fight the blaze.

Pearson had trauma to her upper body. Police are investigating her death as a homicide.

Amanda Hamm, a neighbor who called 911, heard a loud argument in the building at about 2:30 a.m. Monday, News4's Pat Collins reports. She said she smelled smoke around 5:40 a.m.

Detectives say they don't think there is a public safety threat and are not searching for any suspects in the case.
