Huguely Evidence on Display to Public

Today and tomorrow some evidence from the George Huguely murder trial will be on display.

The public will be able to see some of the evidence from the George Huguely murder case.

The items will be display May 15 and 16 in the Charlottesville, Va., courtroom where Huguely stood trial for the death of his ex-girlfriend Yeardley Love.

The evidence includes about 200 photographs and Huguely’s police interrogation. Autopsy photos and other sensitive evidence will not be shown.

Huguely, a former University of Virginia lacrosse player, was convicted of killing Love, who also played lacrosse at UVA. He'll be sentenced in August.  The jury recommended a penalty of 26 years.
