A 19-year-old teen was shot and killed in D.C. Tuesday near a busy shopping center.
The incident was reported just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Ridge Road SE and East Capitol Street SE.
The victim, identified as Novontae Howard of Southeast, had been hospitalized and was later pronounced dead.
No suspect or motive information has been released.
