Prince George's County police have arrested a homeless man they say beat another homeless man to death with a tree branch.
Carlos Eduardo Guzman, 34, was charged Thursday with first-degree murder and other counts. He's accused of killing Alvaro Martinez, 51, whose body was found in a wooded area of Lewisdale on March 27.
A judge ordered Guzman held without bond on Friday.
Police believe Guzman might have beaten Martinez after Martinez threatened to kill someone.
It can difficult to solve killings of homeless people who can be difficult to identify.
