Hippies Crowd National Mall For Liberal Music Festival

Earth Day celebrants rally against climate change caused by 'Spring'

The National Mall was "more exciting than usual" Sunday as environmentalists put on a free concert with various famous musical acts, most notably Rep. Edward Markey and Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis. The Green Apple Festival sought to raise awareness for eco-friendly causes in advance of Earth Day, which is one of the next few days.

It is going to be the greenest week ever -- just look what NBC did to its little peacock logo up there! -- so if you forget to recycle any piece of your trash, Barack Obama and the Democratic liberal party will literally cap-and-trade your head.

While environmentalism has become "Main Stream" in recent years, because of mean old Al Gore's nagging, most of the festival attendees Sunday were still your run-of-the-mill socialist hippies. And they were all addicted to marijuana cigarettes, the Washington Post reported:

In the crowd, which numbered in the tens of thousands, women hula-hooped and a man carried a sign promoting veganism. "Weapons of Mass Destruction," it said alongside a fork-and-knife drawing.

There was an abundance of tie-dye, including a T-shirt announcing: "Kiss Me -- I Voted for Obama." The medical tent was dubbed "Green Cross." The giveaway Frisbees were green, too.

Green, green everywhere, with just about every speaker talking up the "green generation." Some members of said generation celebrated by smoking the green stuff: The pungent odor of marijuana wafted across the Mall at several points during the Earth Day Network's flagship event.

Fortunately no small children were kidnapped by these violent drug addicts, most of whom will be in Mexican jail for life.

And here is a nice lady dancing in a hula hoop, the end.
