Gunman Uses Wheelchair to Flee Crime Scene

A gunman in a wheelchair shot a woman in the foot Monday before fleeing in the chair, D.C. Police said.
Officials said the woman told investigators she had argued with the man two weeks ago, and on Monday he shot her after she got off a bus at about 1 p.m. in the 1200 block of H Street, NE.
Captain Mike Gottert said the man, described as being in his early 20s, did not say anything before shooting the unidentified 47-year-old woman.
