Gun Confiscated at Reagan National Airport

TSA officers found a gun and ammunition in a traveler’s carry-on bag at Reagan National Airport Friday morning.

Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority police confiscated the gun and magazine, which contained six rounds of ammunition.

The 49-year-old West Virginia man was cited on a weapons charge and allowed to catch his flight to Detroit.

The incident did not affect airport operations.
