Guard Falls off Escalator at Columbia Heights Mall
Injuries not considered life-threatening

A security guard was recovering in the hospital Thursday night after falling off an escalator at the Target Mall in Columbia Heights.
Authorities say it's unclear if the guard was on duty when he fell about 20 feet to the ground level.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.
Investigators are trying to figure out what led to the fall and whether any foul play may have been involved.
