Teens Shot Walking Along Hyattsville Street

Police are on the lookout for three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in Hyattsville Wednesday night that sent two teens to the hospital. 

According to Hyattsville City Police, the incident was reported just before 8 p.m. in the 5700 block of 30th Street. Police say a group of teen boys aged between 15 and 17 years old was walking on the street when they were approached by three men, who appeared to be between 18 and 20 years old.

One of the men pulled out a handgun, hitting one teen in the right side and another in the face, arm and torso. The third teen went unharmed. 

Hyattsville police describe the suspects as Hispanic men between the ages of 18 and 20 years old, who fled the scene in a brown Jeep Cherokee driven by a fourth man. 

Police do not yet have a motive for the shooting. Two teens remained hospitalized Wednesday night.
