A group of individuals is wanted for robbing a store along U Street last Saturday, then assaulting the store's owner.
According to officials, the group entered a store in the 1500 block of U Street SE July 20 and began removing items from shelves without paying for them. After the group left, another individual assaulted the store's owner with a piece of lumber.
The man who is wanted for assaulting the owner is described as a black man, standing 5'8" and weighing 180 pounds.
