Technically, Robert Griffin III isn’t yet a member of the Washington Redskins.
But fans are already clamoring to get a look at the man they think will be the next quarterback for the Burgundy and Gold.
Griffin signed autographs and posed for pictures (at $100 a snap) with fans at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly Saturday as part of a sports collector's convention.
The Heisman winner signed everything from memorabilia from his college days at Baylor to Redskins helmets and jerseys, but was whisked to a waiting SUV before the media on hand could get a hold of him.
Griffin is expected to be drafted by the Redskins, who hold the second overall pick in this month's NFL draft.
Washington traded the No. 6 pick and their second-round selection, as well as their first-round choices in 2013 and 2014 for the chance to select the Heisman Trophy winner.
If the Redskins do indeed take the athletic signal-caller, he’s already got a pretty good fanbase.
