Green, Yellow Line Restored After Track Problem

Metrorail service has been restored on the Green and Yellow lines following a track problem outside the Fort Totten station.

Service was suspended for a short time Thursday morning because of an arcing insulator on the Green Line, News4’s Adam Tuss reports.

Metro says riders should expect residual delays in both directions.

This has been a tough week for Metro's Green Line.

Service between Greenbelt and College Park was suspended for much of Wednesday after a pedestrian bridge fell onto Metro and MARC train tracks.
