Green Line service has resumed between Branch Avenue and Naylor Road after being suspended more than two hours Monday morning.
Shuttle buses ran between the affected stations during the service suspension, which began around 6 a.m.
The fire department was called to the scene as precaution as crews dealt with an arcing wire, Metro said.
