We're learning more about why Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is asking the Pentagon to delay the Army's move to the new Mark Center in Alexandria.

In a letter written to Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Gov. McDonnell said officials need more time to finish transportation improvements.

This comes after a report from the Pentagon's Inspector General said the Army used faulty data to estimate the impact of moving 6,400 defense workers to the Mark Center.

The workers are expected to make the move in September.
